Matchy Matchy

Matchy Matchy

I’m definitely a little late to the Matchy Matchy scene but in a way I’m not.  I was matching way before it was a trend. I used to see my mom and her friends matching all the way from their necks to their toes and she’d dress me and my sisters the same. So, earlier this year when I saw the matching 2 piece sets I admit I was NOT feeling it. I don’t love outfits that look too deliberate and perfect. It takes imagination out of it for me. But, the more I saw them I started realizing this could take the guess work out at night when I’m choosing a look for the next day. Instead of mulling over what top to put with what pants I could spend the time being creative with what shoes and accessories I’d add to an already cute outfit. Plus, I do LOVE prints so this BCBGeneration set was perfect. Since the kaleidoscope of paisley is small and intricate I made sure my shoe was also a smaller print. I think it made this look more fun and individualized. My mom was definitely on to something back in the day;)
