Bohemian chic, finally!

Bohemian chic, finally!

If you’re anything like me, you sometimes wear things in order to feel a certain way.  I look at my gorgeous niece and other people in flowy bohemian looks and I think “I want to be easy breezy and cool too”. Have you ever gone shopping with intentions of getting something that makes you feel a certain way but end up feeling wayyyy uncomfortable?

I’ve realized that for me, it’s my body type! I’m a bit top heavy. These broad shoulders and double D’s of mine make a peasant top look a bit… hmmm lets just say… NOT good! I cannot stress enough the importance of understanding cut and length when it comes to fitting and flattering your style and body type.

I quite possibly hit the jackpot with this one. I saw this dress and knew right away I’d feel comfortable in it. It’s baggy and flowy in all the right places and it lets my prominent shoulders breath. I absolutely love it and couldn’t stop spinning in it all day!

Have you ever had issues finding the right styles for your body type? I’d love to hear what worked for you and possibly give you some suggestions.

Oh and yes my bra strap peeked out from time to time, that’s why I wore a pretty mint color. I find strapless bras soooo annoyingly uncomfortable! I think this can be the topic of a future post so I’ll stop here.

That’s A very flattering style. You make it look like anyone can wear it. Not sure if I could but because of your representation of this Bohemiam chic look, I just might give it a serious try.
